Therapeutic Properties of Diopside

Diopside is believed to improve intellect, mathematical and analytical abilities and brings practicality to these applications.

The darker varieties of diopside are considered grounding gemstones. They are associated with the 1st Chakra, the Chakra governing fear, primal urges for survival, sexual function and all elimination. Diopside soothes fears at a very deep level.

The bright green Chrome Diopside is great for the Heart Chakra (4th Chakra). It improves one's ability to trust.

The star/eye varieties are said to be gateways for spirits to see into our world and our hearts. Diopside may also be the dwelling places of these spirits.
